Something you guys are missing is that it isn't meant to have the oomph for a reason. I shouldn't say you guys are missing it but couldn't think of a better phrase. If they added the power they would have to get bigger, more grippy tires to handle the power. Remember it has the tires off a Prius for a reason. The car is meant to have ungrippy tires with just enough power to slide it around at low, safe speeds. This car is a true car guys dream for that reason. For tuner guys it is a great car because it is a platform for a wide array of customization. I will say though. It could have looked a bit better.

Front end looks remarkably like the LFA.

Fantastic looking car overall, shame it hasn't got the ooomph in it.

I believe [actually, I hope] Toyota or at least Subaru will be releasing a version of this car with more power...200 hp is not much, but when we think its main purpose is the driving feel, I kinda...understand...why they didn't put much hp in it.

Yes. And much more focused on handling...balanced...instead of just power :)

It's a shame they're so underpowered. Only pushing out 200 hp from a boxer engine is nothing. for what it could handle. If it came stock with 270-280, I'd be a lot more interested in the GT 86 / BRZ / FRS cars.

I know the owner of (mainly) Jdm tuner shop in my town, he's gotten several people in wanting to turbo their BRZs.
